    Hi All,

I am trying to create a DVD menu that flies over the camera to reveal itself. Sort of like a piece of paper that lands on the canvas. But I am at a loss as to the bast way to make it. I would like it to come onto the camera as a series of + symbols that make up the elements on the paper. So I am thinking Particular. Or maybe I have to breakout Cinema 4D and create it there. I am not 100% confident on how to make this. Can anyone provide your wisdom on this please? Thank you!

Thank you Dave for your help. I would use Card Dance in a second. But I need to have a + symbol shape form my menu not squares. I believe all I can do in Card Dance is use squares…Yes? Thanks!

Use Shatter. You can make a custom shatter map and blow the pieces towards the camera then precomp it and time reverse the precomp.
