    Hi all,

I am in the process of finishing up a project. I want the end result to go onto a DVD. Thus far I have only usually bother to output as WMV for youtube etc etc.. What is the best output for burning to DVD.

Also which software do you use/reccommend on using to burn the resulting file onto dvd?

    TIA

    salutations from codemonkey

    Hi,
Sorry if I was not clear.

I want to be able to output at a high quality and then author it (eventually) onto Dvd for standard dvd playback on a normal tv.

    TIA

    Hi Daryl,

I work on a Windows PC and would output the same way as Dave. You’ll need to have QT installed first though. Also, I would suggest you render your audio separately from your editing application (e.g. premiere). AE isn’t the best for sound. You can then assemble a timeline in Encore DVD that includes your video file and your audio file.
