    Hi,

I am trying to output a DVCPro HD QT file for PBS specs. They requested Channel 1 and 2 stereo and Channel 3 and 4 mono. My composer gave me those files and they are set in my timeline. Now I am trying to export in compressor or quick time conversions so that the 4 channels will stay in tact and not mix down to stereo?

    Here are the audio specs:
    [AUDIO]
    48K Sample Rate
    24bit or 16 bit
Loudness: -24 LKFS +2/-2 db (peak up to -6db)
    Ch1 & Ch2: Stereo Full Mix
    Ch3 & Ch4: Mono Mix

    Thanks for your help.

Here’s a tutorial on how to do that:

    https://library.creativecow.net/ross_shane/multi-audio/1

This exports a Quicktime movie, NO conversion, out of FCP. Is your sequence DVCPRO HD? Or some other codec? If another codec, you might need to export a QT, convert that to DVCPRO HD, bring that back into FCP, put it on a DVCPRO HD timeline, they add the audio to that sequence, then do the above tutorial.
