    The above post by Terry tells you how to make a pro res file from within premiere pro… not sure why you are ignoring this as it works and i do it all the time. What you need to do is first pick Quicktime in the media encoder. Then, you want Custom, but will not have this choice until you go down to file formats and change it to yuv422 or h264. Then finish your settings, check aspect, your are good to go.

    Cinemartin PLIN plugin is available for Premiere Pro and AE. You can also use FFMPEG, from the command line.
