I’ve been using my MXO2 to output from Final Cut and After Effects with no problem. I know I’m probably missing something simple, but how do I get it to work in Premiere Pro? I’m using CS5.

    Thank you,

    Use a Matrox MXO2 preset

That was easy. Thanks for the quick response.

Actually, I just tried to open another job and the Matrox presets are mysteriously missing. How can I find them?

Can’t think of a reason it would. Have you tried restarting the system?

Yes, I restarted and also made sure that FCP wasn’t using the MXO2. Audio is being output through the MXO2 but not video. The Matrox folder is gone.

“The Matrox folder is gone” – containing presets? I would re-install Matrox utilities first and see if that fixed the problem; if you’d like to investigate this further, Matrox forums or Matrox tech support might be the way to go.

Thanks Alex. I downloaded the next version of PP and the Matrox sequence setting choices reappeared. The problem now though, is that the latest Matrox driver will work with PP but not with After Effects. I reloaded the previous Matrox driver and After Effects is once again OK, but the Matrox folder again disappeared from the sequence settings in Premiere. I’m on CS5 and I think that’s a problem for Matrox right now.
