Any advice on a workflow for this?

Say I want to pick one representative frame from each of a bunch of videos, and stick them as thumbnails into a single large image that I’ll print out. For each one, I’ll want some ID so I can find it again, probably the filename of the video, under the thumbnail of the single frame.

I can easily export the images using “export frame,” and it names the image file according to the name of the video file. So maybe all I need is a way that will display all the images as an album or something, with their filenames below them? What would be a quick way to do that?

Do you have Adobe Bridge installed? Its output panel can create pdf proof sheets of thumbnails with filenames that are printer ready.

Okay. I never really understood what Bridge was for, but it looks like it’ll do the trick. Thanks.

Bridge is just that, kind of a bridge between assets and Adobe programs.

You can use it for media management and organization. You can rate items, edit metadata, batch rename files, etc.

It’s a pretty useful tool when your workflow starts expanding.
