    Hey gang, I’m new at this FCP thing, but have been dealing with HD for 4 years. I had a sequence today that was 720p 59.94 I let the AJA LH know this, The deck was set to record the same. I was going into the deck with embedded audio(I’m running FCP Studio 2 on a new G5) The tape was prestriped, and I would tell FCP I wanted to Assemble my edit to tape. Everything went fine except I could not get audio out..even though in e/e mode on the deck, I could see the audio going thru on a test run. What am I missing?

    Any hints would be greatly appreciated.

    Ensure your Audio output is set to firewire and not built-in or something else. It’s at the bottom of the edit menu.

    Thanks,but I’m going out HDSDI thru the AJA into the AJHD-1400 embeded audio…so is there someplace in the output settings to tell it that? I talked to AJA and they said all BNC spigots are active all the time,…. so why is the audio not gettng out on output?? Deck settings semm to be correct
