  • Out of the blue Vegas cant render sharp 1080p movies like it did yestarday.

I have been using same recording software (dxtory) as yestarday with the very same game and same settings. The recorded file is as good as the ones recorded yestarday. However, the movie that comes out of Vegas rendering today with the very same settings is blurry as hell… (like a stretched out 720p insetad of 1080p even tho it have 1920×1080 resolution like it should).

Im using 1080p resolution and codec WMV V11, both raw footages and the render is set to 25fps. Its the same settings i have used yestarday, and yestarday the rendering outcome was very sharp.

Im also using sqare pixels with set 1920 x 1080, insetad of the default 1,333 pixel ration with 1440 x 1080. And it worked great for all my previous movies – picture was very sharp.

    edit:
Now when i changed other codecs like sony mp4 its also blurred…
So its not codec settings issue. Must be something else.
    What could bug out?

    edit2:
Ok seems i could fix that by settings “deinterlace settings” to “none”. What is that thing? I had it set to “blend” before and final produced videos were sharp. Why today they were blurred untill i set it to “none”?

Shoudlnt “deinterlace method” have any use only for motion? When i pick “blend” as i did yestarday (when outcome was very sharp and nice) the whole movie is blurred even tho there is really little motion in it from time to time.

Try reinstalling Vegas, it would be strange if yesterday everything
was ok and today you did nothing at all to your system, but
all your renders are now poor quality….Do you have automatic update
    enabled on your system?

Yeah, perhaps some windows update messed that up. I have pinpointed the problem, and its the interlacing. Gonna play with it a bit in next couple of days.
