    None of the above. Using XDCAM 1920×1080 (and have done for a long time) without any problems.

    Photoshop files with blank layers can cause this error message. It’s pretty common…

    Thanks for the reply.

    I have only had this error message once today so its not a recurring thing. Didn’t know about the Photoshop layer thing nice to know although I seldom use Photoshop files in FCP generally TGA’s

    This error message isn’t about how much RAM you have. It is common in FCP and usually caused by stills images that are too big.

    A quick search of this forum for ‘memory’ should show the oft repeated suggestions for fixing this issue.
