Out of memory
After about a minute of playing video, either from the timeline or just a clip in the viewer, it stops and give the error message “Out of memory” or something to that effect. Then I hit stop and play and it goes for another minute and repeats. What’s that all about, Alfie? I’m running FCP 4 on a Mac G5 with OS X Tiger.

How much RAM do you have? FCP prefers your machine have AT LEAST 2 GB.
