All of us here on the Creative COW Team want to thank Edward Troxel for his enthusiasm and involvement here at the COW’s Vegas community.

Edward has asked to be excused as a leader in this area of the COW as the success of his Excalibur product and his own business now demand more and more of his attention to continue their success and growth. We were proud to be indirectly involved with the success of Excalibur (with multiple reviews and articles in the library, etc.) and wish Edward continued success in the days ahead.

Edward told me that he plans to drop into the COW as his time allows and he will continue to interact with the Vegas community here on occasion, and so we look forward to seeing him in the days ahead.

    Thank you, Edward.

Yes, Ron and I would also like to join Tim in wishing Edward all the best in his endeavors in the days ahead. It has been an honor to work with Edward over the years and we know he will continue to exemplify the kind of helpful and insightful man that we have always seen him to be. We would also like to congratulate Edward on the remarkable success of Excalibur, an incredible addition to the Sony Vegas toolset and we know that he will continue to add more and more to it and to Vegas as he develops additional scripts and tools.

Thank you for your time here, Edward. We wish you all the best in the days ahead.

As someone who has benefited from Edward’s expertise (numerous times!!), I would like to offer my thanks for his help over the years.
I had the pleasue of meeting Edward at NAB a few years ago and found him to be as great in person as he is on the web.

Edward, I hope you will continue to drop in here from time to time to offer advice.

Thanks everyone. I do plan on being around – just maybe not quite as much as in the past.

    Edward,
I’m glad its your business and not the tornadoes that have driven you away. With my wife being from Southern Illinois I felt kind of a kinship with you. You were always there when I asked a question and also to straighten out any advice that I would give out from time to time. Going to miss your quick replys. Best of luck.

    Edward,

[Edward Troxel] “I do plan on being around – just maybe not quite as much as in the past.”

Dang you! (g) Why not leave your visage up and do just that? Come when you can. You don’t have to answer everything. I see “leaders” on other forums who haven’t posted for months. Don’t feel you have to leave, if you can’t do it all. Others will take up the slack. That’s why there’s room for lots more folk at the top.

That said, I realize that there may be more to it under the surface, or that you just can’t limit yourself to anything but all out. I wish you the best, whether you reconsider or not. Excalibur is a remarkable achievement.

    Ed,

WOW! I just came home from work and see a new group of Sony Vegas leaders. I’ve been with Sony Vegas since Vegas 4 and you have helped me a lot which is an understatement. I like to thank you so much for all the help you’ve given me and to others out there in the Sony Vegas Community. I wish you the very best my Illinois friend and continued great success with Excalibur. Being from Chicagoland area, I see my buddy Allen has joined the Sony Vegas Leadership and like to welcome each and everyone of you aboard. I already have a question, but I think I’ll wait 🙂

The Very Best to you ED.
