I apologize if off topic threads are not allowed. But I currently use a preinstalled version of PowerDVD to play my creations. I would like to upgrade to something that will play true surround sound and I guess my only choices are PowerDVD6 or WinDVD7. PLEASE could you give me some opinions on these as to which might be the better choice? Thanks.

Media Player Classic will do it for you. Some minor tweaking may be required but it’s very easy. I use it for surround sound playback on our Vegas suites at work and it’s great.

    Mike,
Thank you very much. I downloaded it and tried it out on a commercial DVD with 5.1 sound and it was fantastic. Besides, it was FREE! Thanks again.
