    Walter,

So when do we all get our 2-cent checks from Samsung??? I wonder how much they actually profited from the price fixing? It was most likely a lot more than what they were fined. I would imagine this 300 million dollar slap on the wrist was probably expensed a long time ago on their profit projections. And, I’ll bet they pay no US taxes whatsoever.

It was good while it lasted.

Price fixing usually means, they worked with others to set an artificial price, artificial as in overly high. What other companies were they fixing with, why are they not fined?

In this instance I think this price fixing means dumping, selling for less then it cost to make, If this is the case, prices should rise. I like dumping…

I think you’re confusing the investigation about the samsung deal with apple for the flash rom chips for the nano. I heard they’re being investigated for that as well.

I did get it wrong, I just saw a BBC report and it is about a cartel like arrangement with others. Two chip companies have already paid fines . THis invstigation has been going on for years, it all blends togeather after 2 or more years.

As far as the Nano thing, I dont know.
