    OT – Magic Mouse ‘Sluggish’/slow responsiveness

    Hi,

    Google isn’t giving me the help I need and I was wondering if any of y’all have any suggestions.

    There are days [like today] when my Bluetooth [BT] Magic Mouse is ‘sluggish’ and not as responsive as it needs to be.

    Google says my BT receiver in the Mac Pro may be obstructed, so I’ve attached a BT dongle to my wired
    keyboard and I’m still getting sluggish mouse feedback.

    [Note: this is not related to the tracking speed of the mouse, rather, it’s response time to my
    actions]

    Any suggestions?

    What’s the battery level and what kind of batteries are you using?

    I wanted to save money and go green, but I found that I had this behavior when I used rechargeable batteries, but never had it with lithium batteries.

    Hi John,

    Right now I’ve got regular [non-rechargeable] batteries in – at 100%.

    This was happening with rechargeables, too.
