OT: Keyboard vs Dust Strategies
Before I go run out and buy a “Swiffer Duster,” which looks to be better than anything I’m doing right now to combat the problem, does anyone else have any really excellent way of dealing with the chronic problem of dust build-up on their keyboards???

Thanks Shane, but I’m not certain I need full body armour for the keyboard… Do they make ones that are “Ribbed for her Pleasure” though?

Probably the best option is to throw out that miserable crumb-catcher called the “Apple Pro Keyboard” and get one of the new Apple aluminum keyboards. It takes about a day to get used to the feel, but once you switch you’ll never go back. The aluminum keyboard is way easier to keep clean, in addition to being much easier on the fingers and not jamming up after a few months of use.

I keep a 3 inch paint brush in the back of the Keyboard drawer… works great.. Just hold the keyboard on it side and sweep it out…
If if gets really bad, I vacuum it or dip the brush in alcohol to get the finger oils and grime off..

Alcohol on a keyboard? Bad editor, bad… If you read all of the Apple literature, they tell you not get any alcohol within a mile of any Apple product, it will eat off paint, finish, numbers and letters off of keyboards, etc.
I agree, don’t get alcohol near anything plastic.
I bought an onion skin keyboard cover for my MBP I am typing this one. Best $10.00 I ever spent. My G5 keyboard, I just wipe it with Apple Polish (available at Apple Stores and Frys) and it keeps fairly clean.
