    Hi folks.

Meant to post this earlier but for all you “Good Eats” fans out there, I’m making my “national acting debut” in the opening scene of tonight’s episode, “Fishn’ Whole.” I’m the negative guy that taunts the girl and then Alton.

Here’s the full details and air times. Enjoy!

    Fishing Whole
Scales, tails and eyes oh my! Who’s afraid of whole fish? Not Alton Brown. Confront your fishy phobias head on with the fearless host as he roasts, planks and fries up a few good (whole) fish.

I’m Tivo’ing it and throwing it up on YOU TUBE…after I edit it a bit more and mix it with DVD rips of popular movies and add U2 music.

Hee…nice. I’d like to be in front of the camera once myself. Other than that time I was a spec in the distance on TIN CUP as a Golf Channel camera guy.

The Number One rule of the show is “He Who Works on Good Eats, Shall Appear on Good Eats.” Honest, that’s a rule! AB even says so on the Behind the Eats episode. So I really had no choice. 🙂

On my last show, the Art Director played the part of a lawyer that shoots and nearly kills Andrew Jackson, the AD plays Jackson’s older brother, a Grip was the Indian Agent…and so on. Well, the AD filing in was due to the hired actor not making it to the location in time.

    Fun man…and you have lines!

The last time I made it on the air was when a mamber of the Denver Nuggeta and a member of the Utah Jazz piled into me at full speed. I was the poor schmuck running the live camera while sitting on the hardwood under the basket. The three of us all went into a row of folding chairs. All I got out of it was a black eye and the indignation of the whole thing being replayed from four different angles…including my own on the late news that night. And I didn’t get any speaking lines…at least none that could be aired. 🙂
    Ouch!

    Hey Walter,

Which fish were you playing, the striped bass? Ouch, that scaling must have been uncomfortable?

Actually, I thought you were quite good. Your very distictive voice makes you perfect for Alton’s brand of comic food science. Maybe you can be a regular?

[Wayne Carey] “As for you, Walter… GOOD JOB!”

Thanks Wayne! Definitely a lot of fun and AB is a great Director. His idea to do the finger point thing when I taunted Anna. Hardest part was when I taunted Alton for his fear of clowns because he kept charging at me off camera with an “oh yeah buster!” so I kept laughing.

Hopefully we’ll get the gang together for another appearance in the future. But I certainly enjoy my role behind the camera a lot more! 🙂

I bet it was fun. I know that Alton has to be a real card. I have to say that he is extremely talented and I have always enjoyed his programs and interesting style of humor. Can’t wait until “Feasting on Asphalt 2: The River Run” airs.
