OT – good uses of video on the web?
I know this is a little off topic, but who better to ask than the illustrious inhabitants of this forum?
Being a broadcast editor, I find myself surfing the same old video industry websites all the time (not complaining either) but i am starting to wonder what others are doing with video and the web. As our company is looking to use video as a web tool more and more, i’d really like to see some good examples of what others are doing with the medium. I suppose i’m in need of a little post christmas inspiration!
Can anyone suggest any worthy sites that i should check out?

Hi Adam,
Not sure which “same old video” sites you’re looking at, but Vimeo is very well done. Also look at Our Stage. I have reference to another at the office, I’ll post it later.

I did find some interesting videos on vimeo.
Although as with a lot of these sites, you do have to trawl through an awful lot of dross to find them.I think what i was really meaning, rather than sites that host videos, i was looking to see how people were using video in creative ways within their own websites.
