I was wondering how you guys do your same day edit. Particularly how you project them. First, do you use a DVD player hooked to your projector or do you use a notebook computer. Using the DVD player with a ‘sinbgle movie’ on the DVD would be the ‘cleanest’ way to do it I would imagine. You just put in the dVD and it plays. This would be JPG2 format of course but the quality would probably be good.
But that means that you have the time to edit the footage, render it and then burn it to DVD (and hope that you don’t make a saucer).

Or do you play the program straight from the computer and if so how. What format do you have it rendered in and what player do you use. It would look rather cheesy to hev the Windows Movie pLayer skin showing in the program. To get it to the projector how do you have it hooked up for the best picture? My laptop and projector have VGA and DVI. I understand one is analog (VGA) and one is digital but my research seesm to indicate that one may not be better than the other! My DVD player has SVHS and component out but the projector does not have component in. I got a component to VGA cord but I can’t seem to get the projector to recognize it. Coomponent and VGA rae both analog – right?.

Any information you might be able to give me would be helpful.
    Thanks
