  OT: can’t copy from DVD to hard drive

  I have a 3 quicktime movies that are written on a DVD (it was written as data, not in the DVD format) my Mac G5 with Tiger will not allow me to copy the files from the DVD to the hard drive. The icon that I get when I drag from the DVD to the hardrive is a red circle with a slash through it.

  Any ideas?
