This is rather off-topic, but I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good website/book/dvd that gives a basic primer for animation. I’m looking to get in to some fairly simple stuff at first; animating stick figures, etc. but I’m curious about the very basics. Thanks!

hi. i just recently started picking up AE a few weeks back and the book that helped me the most especially on animation is Chris & Trish Meyer’s book: AE Apprentice. It covers AE7 and a bit of CS3. The best thing about it is it’s perfect for beginners.

    hope this helps :o)
