OSX Lion – Avid Quicktime Plugins Fail to Install
Does anyone know why the Avid installer for the LE plugins would fail in Lion? It looks like it processes fine and then ends with a failed install message.
I actually have the same plugins working on another Lion OS laptop.
Help! (and thanks)

Make sure QuickTime 7 is installed. QuickTime X does not support 3rd party plug in codecs.
