    Hi:

I’ve noticed that I’m unable to get OS 10.5.5 clients to connect to our Open Directory, which is still running on a 10.4.11 Server. I when I try to log-on as a network user on the 10.5.5 machines, It fails to find the home-folder, even though the OD is just set to use a local home-folder (/Users). When I look into it, it creates the users home-folder, but the permissions for that folder a screwy. The owner is listed as ‘unknown’. I can manually change the permissions.. which works.. for 1 boot cycle. Next time the computer gets turned off.. back to the same problem.

Anyone had any luck with 10.5.5 and a 10.4.11 OD? Any suggestions? Thoughts?

    Thanks

    M.
