is there a way (software or program perhaps) to organize, sift, and otherwise sort through footage shot by frame rate? I use both 23.98 (24p) and 59.97 (60i) footage, the latter I use for slow mo purposes. Sometimes I miss a clip or two and they end up in FCP at normal speed looking different from the 24p footage. Does anyone have any tips/tricks/programs that can help sift thru the digital footage?

    Thanks so much!

Sure. Sort on the “frame rate” column of the browser by clicking on it’s name…

What browser? In final cut or in mac os? That’s the problem I’m having – there’s no way to tell what the framerate is unless you look at each clip individually. Should I import them in to final cut and scroll through them that way?

Yes, in the FCP browser window, you can find a frame rate column…. just sort on it by clicking on the column header.
