organising footage from a rushed multicamera shoot – workflow advice please
I did i shoot with 6 DSLR’s filming a classical quartet, schedule was very tight so our DIT and clapper loader had to rush.
I now have 250gb of footage from 6 cameras in folders sometimes being a1,a2 etc and some like box of cards, random etc.
i wondered if there was a feature in premiere or prelude or the like for watching through footage and tagging it something like ‘brahms movement 1 take 1 camera a’
i want to end up with folders in premiere like this
mozart>movement1>take1 a,b,c,d,e,f
letters for cameras to make sure everything is there etc.
i could go on but bassicaly its a mess what with DSLR’s needing to stop and start, not being able to clapper everything and backup organised.
i wondered what peoples workflows are, for sorting through lots and lots of footage for sound syncing and editing (using plural eyes) i wondered if i am missing something in prelude or a tagging feature in premiere that will allow me to watch tag and then search to build organised folders.
Thanks for reading through this rambled message!
