Optimizing Vegas 12 over multiple drives

Check that your boot drive is still specified. Go to System Preference then Startup Disk and make sure that your boot drive is highlighted (not just listed, but highlighted) If your boot drive is not highlighted then highlight it. Otherwise your Mac will take longer to boot while it searches for the boot device.
Yosemite does boot different. I noticed that it loads for a bit. Then pauses and my second display lights up, then it finished booting.

Merry X’mas and thanks for your sage advice over the past 6 years. Without it, I probably would have ended up using Hideous (Edius) or ** shudder ** Adobe Premiere.
