Optimised Media
Despite the fact that I do NOT select the “Optimise Media” box on Import (I just select Proxy) I still have a Hi Quality Media folder full up with big files in addition to my Proxy media folder when I look inside the Project Library bundle. Is FCP Creating High quality Pro Rez files anyway? Certainly seems to be the case.

Is this the mulitcam project?
If so, turn off the preference in “Playback” to create optimized media for multicam.
