I have a scene which includes 16 lights, two are spot lights named “Stage lights” and the rest are point lights, nine of them are named “C light (number)” and the remaining ones are named “E light (number)”, I added several OF instances to different solids, one is an overall flare which is positioned in 3D space, working as expected. Another one is using the track lights option to track those whose name starts with C and the last one has the same but tracking lights that start with E. Besides that I also have another solid with Trapcode Lux applied to it, this is affecting all the point lights and it’s turned off for the spot ones.

My problem is that the E lights are only being caught by Lux, but not by the OF layer that is supposed to catch them, it’s just as if they weren’t there at all, the only thing I can see is their primitive skeletons.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Post a screen grab of your timeline.
Check if you do not have any 2d layers in between 3d layers.

Hey Tudor, thanks for your reply.
Here’s the screenshot of the timeline.

I have some 2d layers in between, but are the ones holding the effects (lux and optical flares), should I move then on top?

    Thanks again.
