Opening Vegas kills audio from other programs
Basically title.
If I have any other program(s) playing audio, the playback dies eg. YouTube bugs out and reloads, Discord voice call just mutes itself, music players stop playing and so on
Any way to stop this? I faintly recall something about Vegas using the wrong audio driver/device (eg. Windows WASAPI, DirectSound) but coudn’t find any option to change it.

The option is there to change it…..
Try going to Options- Preferences- Audio Device- and then in “Audio Device Type” try toggling with the selections.Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)
