Opening projects verry slow
It seems to be taking a very long time to open project, is there anything I can do to speed this up? I have around 3/4 hours of footage and a 7 minute film. The initial load with status bar takes a couple of minutes but wen it gets to 100% the status bar is removed but I have to wait another couple of minutes. I dread to think how long it would take to do a feature length film.
This would not be to mutch of a problem but Vegas 9d Pro has crashes a couple of times over the last couple of days.

I’d be curious to know the circumstances of those crashes. I’ve been trying to pinpoint the cause of crashes in Vegas 9.0c and 9.0d when editing text media items.
