Opening Project Very Slow
Hi,
I’ve got a little problem with my Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.
I have a project wich has 200go of P2 rushes on another drive, and it take 25min to load.Is it normal? If not what can I do to fix that?

4.1 update soon!

As Mike said. the 4.1 update, due end of may, has been announced as improving slow project load times.
Unfortunately, until then, the only work around I can think of is to offline clips you are not currently using. That way, when PPro starts, it won’t open each clip to verify what it knows about the clips.
