  Opening JVC mpeg-2-ts in After Effects CS4

  Hello and thanks in advance for your help

  i normally convert to a lossless codec for editing but with this particular project the files are huge to begin with and i don’t have that option. but as far as i know people have been able to open the JVC .MOD hd files in after effects cs4 by changing the extension to the recognised .m2ts but when i try i get the error “After Effects: AEGP Plugin AAF: Error occurred while creating project (5027 :: 12)” i don’t have the option of trying cs5 because i’m running a 32bit OS. is there anyway i can make this work with these files?
