  opening FCP project problems

  Hello,
  I’m having problems opening a FCP 5.0.3 project for a feature which we’re editing on a PowerMac G5. The project starts to open, but when it gets to 11%, it stops, sits there for about 15 minutes, then finishes loading just fine. I’ve trashed all the preferences, and verified all disk permisions. Has anyone encountered this, or does anyone have any suggestions for me?
  Here’s the details of the project:
  FCP 5.0.3
  shot on 35mm
  captured dvcam in FCP, then reversed telecine to edit at 23.98
  Power Mac G5, dual, 2.7 GHz, 4.5 GB ram
  project file on LaCie 250GB firewire drive
  media on G-Tech G-Raid 800GB firewire drive
