Opening Encore CS3 Projects in CS4
The company I work for is currently in the process of putting all their videos online, and they need these videos to include subtitles.
We already have subtitles that we created using Encore CS3, however, CS3 does not offer any way to export those subtitles.
So, I figured I could open the CS3 project in CS4 and then export them. The projects initially open fine, however when I click on the subtitle track to turn it on (which must be done in order to export them) CS4 crashes.
This only happens when I am working with the CS3 projects, I can export subtitles fine from CS4 projects that were created using CS4.
In general, I haven’t had a lot of luck using CS4 to manipulate CS3 projects. Any ideas?
