This is stupid, I know, but I made a series of complicated cuts, and accidentally closed my timeline window before saving. When the timeline window closed, so did the viewer window. I can’t get them back. I’ve closed the project, but when i re-open it, just the browser and preview open. I’ve opened other projects, which bring up the timeline for that project, but not for the project in question. Where do windows go when you hit the red button?

It’s not stupid; it happens to everyone as they get familiar with Final Cut.

Open your project and then double-click the sequence icon in the Browser (for the sequence you were working on–you might have several such icons), and all will be back to normal.
