open Premiere Elements project into CS4?
According to the help files, Premiere CS4 will open a Premiere Elements project and convert it to Pro. I’ve tried to do this with several different projects on two different machines and get the same message – “The project could not be loaded, it may be damaged or contain outdated elements.” Source video is AVCHD. Both programs have current patches.
Any suggestions?

Here is the workaround.
Rename the Elements project (*.prel) to a Premiere project (*.prproj)
Create a new project in CS4.
Import the renamed project file.
