  • Opacity and linear color: alternative solution to uncheck option in sequence settings

    Hello there!

So, I have been scratching my head for a while trying to understand why my black layers with 80% alpha coming from After Effects where rendering as if the Opacity was closer to 50%, until I found the Linear Color option inside sequence settings. Get rid of the linear color blending, and problem solved.

I am going to work on almost 200 premiere projects in the next three months, so I was wondering if there is an alternative to uncheck the option every time. I tried to play with the gamma value, but it doesn’t appear to do anything: the color is black, so nothing changes.

    Thanks for your time!

    Gabe
