hi, been doing a few projects with simple info graphics in ae. sending them to a editor working in premiere.

most of the graphics are white text and lines on a black transparent background. When i do them in ae, around 50% opacity seems to be enough for the text to be readable. but when importing the graphics to premiere and placing it on the same footage, the black backgrounds are almost totally transparent. i need to raise the opacitu in ae to around 98% for it to look ok in premiere. by 98%, they are almost compact in ae. its really hard to work this way.

I did a quick test: They indeed look different at the default settings. But when I selected Adobe RGB and Linearize Working Space in AE project settings, I see the same transparency as in Premiere.
