  on/off expressions on layers using Check box

  Hi all,
  Seeking help for an expression control using check box
  I have a comp which has a layer which has dash animated. i have put an expression which toggles between no. of dashes. but this expression don’t allow me to animate keyframes. Is it possible to add a check box to on/off animation on that layer or for specific property. Is it possible..?
