Only the audio moves to the timeline not the matching video.
When I move a video clip to the timeline the video is missing just the audio shows up. Some of the othe videos previously moved to the timeline have turned red. I have mostly short video clips for my project. Right now I am up to 18 minutes and only have about 5 more minutes to go for completion. Why are the previous clips turning red and the new clips only show the audio?

Vegas doesnt have the codec then for the video. Try comverting the files to avi with Stream clip. It’s free.

I probably was clear on my problem, sorry, I have 18 minutes of short video clips already on the time line with no problem. Then when I went to put the last 5 minutes on not only did the video not come with the audio,but previous clips video turned red. but if you preview them the clip shows up. Have I maxed out the software or my computer? I have windows 7 64 bit with 4 g RAM
