only slightly OT…MobileMe OSX Upgrade and FCP?
I have a cloned copy of my system prior to updating for MobileMe use, but I was wondering if anyone has heard of or experienced any troubles from this upgrade.
Coincidently, in order to do this, I use .mac for all my email, so I felt kind of forced in a way, I had to upgrade to 10.5.4 (and threw in pro apps upgrade) in order to do so.
One project down and things are working fine. I’m not sure what I gained, but I don’t seem to have lost anything either.
I want to thank the cow for kicking me in the butt to finally begin to clone prior to upgrades. I no longer feel the anxiety and dread that I used to. I used to wait to “hear the fall out” die down until I would take the plunge. Its such a simple thing to do, and only takes about 1 hour to copy my HD.

Well, no problems here so far.
I’ve used .Mac for about 2 years and have been using .Me since everything got fully upgraded over the weekend. It obviously hasn’t been that long, but I don’t see that it affects the computer any differently than .Mac did.
