  • Only Renders One Frame at a time–Can’t Render out

    Hi All

Im in the middle of a typical “can’t render project, deadline is only a few hours away crisis.” I am hoping someone out there might be able to offer some help.

I have a medium complex animation-not too much stuff, except it does use a reasonable amount of particular and it is in 3d.

About halfway, it becomes unwilling to render more than one frame at a time. If I hit the space bar, AE renders one frame then stops. If I try to RAM preview the selected area it says there needs to be more than one frame in order to RAM preview. It fails every time I try ot render it out of the project.

Anyone have any experience with this????

Thanks so much for any help.

Have you tried to render out the sequence as a tiff sequence. This way you won’t have to start over every time in the render. With plug-ins the cpu might be running out of memory, and quit at a certain point. If you render out in a sequence you can pinpoint the trouble spot and match frame it together later in another sequence, and a lot easier of a render
