Hi guys, this is a very embarrassing question, or to be more precise, my reason for asking it is embarrassing –

I started capturing raw footage for an edit, at full resolution, but have now noticed i don’t have quite as much space on my hard drive as I thought! I know, I know, duh.

Is there a way I can sort of ‘downres’ my project? Or is my only solution to (god help me) start a new project at offline RT and recapture all the footage? I done six hours of it already. Stop laughing.

I have never done it myself, but in Media Manager if you choose recompres is has an option to “Recompress Media” at any of the preset capture settings.

Be careful if Media Manager is used wrong you can lose media.

Actually MM does a fine job of this. If you use copy instead of recompress, you can check the copies before you delete the originals.
