    Hello!

I’ve searched, but haven’t found too many online examples of broadcast design specifically for sports graphics. I may be getting involved in designing and building a total package for a soccer team in Europe, and I am looking for inspiration. Any good websites out there? Also, although I most likely would design everything myself, budget limitations may force me to partially use stock sports graphics packages, so if you have any tips on companies that sell these, I would appreciate some suggestions for that as well.

    Kind regards,
    Eric

    Hi Eric,

You are probably aware of this site, but I thought I’d throw it out there anyway…

This is not sports specific but I have noticed quite a few of the reels include some sports design.

Again, you are probably well aware of this, but it would be worthwhile to TIVO some games and fast forward to the design heavy elements.

If you are designing for the team, where will the graphics air – Jumbotron, commercials, does the team own a network?

Jumbotron design has some similarities to broadcast, but the display and audience are very different. Again I would try to go to some games and just check out the Jumbotron. Some stadiums and arenas do a very good job, others not so much.

    Good luck!

    Tom
