Online clips but TL clip thumbnail still says offline
We are working on a shared unity x-serve raid drives. I sometimes forget to mount my drive when i open FCP. So it ask to reconnect. What i did was to mount the drives i need. Then FCP ask me to reconnect offline clips. This is my prob… I realise after reconnecting my media, my clips are online but on the TL the thumbnail still labels it offline.
Y is this so? Is that a bug? And how do i fix this bug prob>

sounds like your thumbnail cache got confused (corrupted)
deleting that might fix the problem -
It’s a bug – if you open a project and the media can’t be found then the Offline thumbnail gets created on the timeline clip. If you then open the project again when the media can be found then the thumbnail is not updated and remains as “offline”.
As Andy says, trash your thumbnail cache files and all will be well.
