  One graphic affecting color/lumosity of another graphic?

  I have a problem where one image placed inside a frame is somehow being affected by another placed nearby. The color is altered when I delete the second object. I have tried shifting the arrangement of either image with no luck. This seems to be happening on other pages as well.

  

  Any thoughts on what is going on?
