  • One frame scene detector problem

I have a finished spot apple prores 422hq 30 sec long. This spot has about 30 single frame edits.
After running it through the scene detector and dropping the cuts on the time line the spot was two and half minutes long. Went back and checked and all the one frame edits are in the time line at about 5 sec long. I have tried everything to fix this but can’t find the answer. I want to send this back without editing it in one file…..

[Dave Williams] “Went back and checked and all the one frame edits are in the time line at about 5 sec long.”

What is your default setting for still frame duration on import? I’m betting its 5 seconds.

Resolve is likely treating all these one-frame elements as if they were stills.
