This one gets me every time. Whenever I deal with a long (60+ minutes) video, by the time I’m done with it, the audio is about 0.000065187% longer than the video.

This is despite the fact that the audio and video in PPro match up perfectly. Once they’re in another program, this is the phenomenon I get, and I am forced to resample the audio accordingly. Fortunately, this discrepancy is consistent, so all I need do is bear in mind that subtle percentage and make the adjustment in Audition. It’s a small number, but it means that by the end of the video, without the adjustment, everyone’s voices are coming in about a quarter of a second too late. And this is nothing new. Not at all. Had it in PPro 6, and here it is in CS4.

Why? What can I do to avoid this? Resampling audio is an extra step I’d rather not have to take.
