OMF mystery??
why is it that FCP can export OMF files but not recognise them for importing? is this possible? have i missed something?
i have to import a lot of audio files from other audo mixing applications, as im sure a lot of people do. OMFs would make this a much more efficient process.

You will have to ask Apple why they won’t OMF import. Have you looked at the Automatic Duck products? They offer all sorts of import export options with other systems like Protools.
