December 21, 2006 at 2:19 amOK. Even if I dont have Pro Tools, shouldnt the file Icon appear on the document instead of it being blank. I mean, if I dont have Pro Tools, how can I check the files integrity.

December 21, 2006 at 4:39 amWHy does it matter what icon is on the file? Since the OMF file isn’t openable by any specific aplication (like Word documents or Final cut Pro projects) it has a generic icon.
There used to be a way to check the file’s integrity Waaaaaaaaaayy back in OS 9, but that application isn’t around anymore.

December 21, 2006 at 7:03 amIf you buy an app that reads OMF files, such Automatic Duck, the file will have an icon and will open. But, without an associated app, the files have no reference in the OS.
