  • OMF export has clicks & pops at crossfades

We are cutting in multiclip mode with up to 40 audio channels active. Playback in FCP sounds fine. When we import our OMF to our pro tools session we are getting very loud clicks & pops at many (but not all) of the crossfades that we have between two clips… not where we are fading up or down from silence. We are working at 48k. We have tried exporting both 16 bit and 24 bit OMF’s with handles up to 2 seconds. We have exported from 2 different FCP systems and have loaded the OMF’s on two different Pro Tools rigs. We have also exported from different FCP projects accessing different media. We continue to have the same issues. When we export our OMF without crossfades we do not have any clicks or pops however this will force us to spend more time in Pro Tools recreating work that has already been done. We’ve even tried exporting an AAF from Automatic Duck and had the same results. Anyone out there experienced similar issues? Any solid solutions?
